Henry coaches senior executives who want to raise their game - as professionals,
as leaders and in their careers. He works with their core purposes to create new
possibilities in their work and in their lives. They may be taking up a new role
or assignment, moving from their current speciality into general management, undertaking
major organisational change or simply wanting to build on an existing record of
achievement.
As an experienced coach Henry creates strong rapport, giving his clients confidence
and space to explore fresh ways of thinking and behaving which will deliver business
objectives and make them more effective in their life and work. He has a particular
interest in supporting emerging leaders who need to take up their authority, develop
a strategic overview, and manage key relationships.
Henry began his career as a doctor in the NHS, before becoming a television programme
maker and then a senior manager in the BBC. He worked in general and resources management
and as a change leader. Latterly he combined the roles of board member of the BBC's
Strategy Division and BBC lead coach before leaving in 2006 to become a full-time
executive coach.
His clients have included main and divisional board members within the BBC, senior
media executives and senior executives in public sector based professional services,
including financial, legal, medical, marketing and HR. He holds a diploma with distinction
in advanced executive coaching. He is a qualified counsellor and mediator, and a
trained coach supervisor.
