

Having worked in the fields of HR, coaching and training & development as a business psychologist for more than 15 years, Carolas current activities primarily focus on the areas of Executive Coaching, Leadership Training and High Potential Programs. Her main clients are global companies in the finance sector as well as global consultancy companies. She is able to coach fluently in either English or German.
Her coaching style can be described as a mix of challenging and caring. Her approach is flexible, depending on the needs of each coaches and she sees difficult situation as opportunities for growth. She has considerable experience as a senior HR professional and understands the issues of managing a career in a complex and multicultural environment.
After conducting HR-research for 3 years at university on HR-Strategy and Training in Industry and Banking, Carola started as an internal consultant with Tengelmann, a major German retail supermarket chain. She went on to take over line responsibility and spearheaded the companies HR development activities, leading a team of 15 people as Head of Personnel Development .
She then moved on to PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), first in Frankfurt and later in London as an internal consultant, where she was again working on the design and implementation of Leadership Training, Team Training, Coaching and Development Centres.
In 2001, she decided to leave PwC and work as an independent consultant. Her client list includes Booz Allen Hamilton, Permira, Deutsche Bank, Daimler Chrysler, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Roche, Cranfield University, Marsh and PwC.
Next to her university degrees as Diplom-Psychologin (corresponding to M.A. in Psychology) and Dr. Phil (corresponding to Ph.D. in Psychology) she also completed a Diploma in Systemic Management at Birbeck University. Carola is certified in NLP, Transactional Analysis and Systemic Consulting and qualified to interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
