Booking Procedure - Terms and Conditions
The conditions for booking a place on the RICS Management Development Centre have been written to reflect our need to match revenues generated with the obligations incurred in booking venues and consultant time.

1). A place can only be confirmed as booked when a booking confirmation form has been submitted and full payment has been received.

2). In the event of a participant of a confirmed booking being unable to attend the centre then the full cost of attendance remains payable and no refund can be made, subject to conditions 3 and 4 below.

3). A confirmed booking can be changed, whereby an individual participant finds a suitable substitute participant. In this instance the original participant should contact Gordon Cooper Associates Ltd five working days before the centre runs to make the substitution. Gordon Cooper Associates Ltd will not get involved in making refunds or re-charging the substitute participant. Any such financial arrangements need to be agreed between participants.

4). If a participant becomes unable to attend a centre and informs Gordon Cooper Associates Ltd before ten working days of the centre running, then Gordon Cooper Associates Ltd will seek to find a replacement participant. Should a replacement participant be found then we will seek to transfer the original booking to an alternative date. A booking transfer fee of £150 plus VAT will become payable before a revised place can be confirmed. If a replacement participant cannot be found then the original booking remains effective and non-attendance will result in a loss of the original booking fee. In all cases no refund will be made for a confirmed booking.

5). We will seek to run all centres as advertised, however should a particular centre not attract the required number of participants, or if other unforeseen problems beyond our control arise that require a centre to be cancelled, then alternative dates will be offered to those with confirmed bookings. Should it not prove possible to arrange a mutually acceptable alternative, then the course booking fee will be refunded in full.

6). In the event of a centre being cancelled by Gordon Cooper Associates Ltd as set out in 5 above, then Gordon Cooper Associates Ltd accept no responsibility for any incidental loss incurred by the participants or participants employer, including loss of earnings.
