Welcome to the RICS Management Development Centre


 

You have achieved a lot, you are busy, with strong technical skills. So far so good, but can you achieve continued success without actively managing your career and your development into a skilled manager?

Purpose
The centre has been developed in order to help employees with potential to perform more successfully in professional / management roles.

The centre will help participants to:

· Assess their current performance against the key competencies required in professional life.
· Identify development areas including a clear action plan setting out how they can continue to
 
develop and improve important skills.

The participants leave the two-day centre with a clear report addressing the points noted above.

How it works
After completing a pre-course questionnaire, you arrive at the centre and spend 2 days engaged in various work related activities in small groups of 4 or less. During this time your performance will be observed and this information will be both documented in your own report but also fed back to you in the form of a one to one developmental conversation. The focus is on development and action planning around your personal goals.
