Yes. The centre was developed after extensive research with member firms about the key competencies that make a successful professional manager. Gordon Cooper Associates Ltd have considerable expertise in running other similar centres that are also designed to be highly relevant to their target participants.

Who will benefit?

The centre is designed for employees with potential to progress into senior management positions. Target participants will typically be qualified chartered surveyors who are now facing greater challenges relating to the role of effective managers. The centre is designed for stronger candidates who will benefit from:

Yes. We are happy to organise specific centres for member firms and will be happy to discuss how this can work.

How will I sustain the maximum benefit from the centre? Will I not leave all keen and then fall back into bad habits?

The personal report, which details your specific strengths and development areas, should act as a prompt. The development plan, which sets out practical options for developing your skills, should help you to improve and develop after leaving the centre.

Will I need to work through lots of pre-work before attending the centre?

No, you will be asked to spend up to an hour completing a pre-course questionnaire. This will help you focus during the centre.

If I perform badly on elements of the course will I receive a fail mark?

No, the centre is focussed on helping the individual to improve performance. You will receive clear feedback about your level of performance, however the purpose is to identify how you can perform better. There is no pass or fail.

How does your booking system work?

1. You review the available dates on the website.
2. Select a date you would like to attend.
3. Send an email request.
4. You receive a provisional booking confirmation note.
5. You have 7 days to reserve your place by completing a booking form and making payment.

How do I pay?

You should complete the booking form and forward a cheque to us by post.
Make cheques payable to Gordon Cooper Associates Ltd.

Where will the centres be run?

These will normally be held in a central London location. Some centres may run at the offices of Gordon Cooper Associates in Berkhamsted (30 minutes from Euston).
