a manager on this centre, how will my firm benefit? The centre can be an important element in helping to retain your best employees. Yes. The centre was developed after extensive research with member firms about the key competencies that make a successful professional manager. Gordon Cooper Associates Ltd have considerable expertise in running other similar centres that are also designed to be highly relevant to their target participants. The centre is designed for employees with potential to progress into senior management positions. Target participants will typically be qualified chartered surveyors who are now facing greater challenges relating to the role of effective managers. We are happy to organise specific centres for member firms and will be happy to discuss how this can work. Managers How will I sustain the maximum benefit from the centre? The development plan, which sets out practical options for developing your skills, should help you to improve and develop after leaving the centre. Will I need to work through lots of pre-work before attending the centre? No, you will be asked to spend up to an hour completing a pre-course questionnaire.
