Philip is the creator of "Show Up Big"™, a coaching system which was developed to respond to the demands of clients who want to develop the charismatic aspects of leadership. The process is a synthesis of techniques drawn from the performing arts arena combined with traditional communication tools that ultimately focus the individual to be consciously activating their full range of knowledge, skills and talents.
Philip first began his work in leadership development and coaching in 1995, when he led a team at Avon Lifedesigns, a division of Avon Products, to create a workshop that developed women in leadership to become more motivated, creative and passionate in their careers and personal lives.
Philip DerMargosian
received a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Northridge
and attended The Juilliard School for advanced studies in opera performance.
He is trained and certified in Leadership Coaching by The Generative Leadership
Group. He is also certified in "Leadership Effectiveness Analysis"
(Management Research Group), "Situational Leadership" (Blanchard
Group), "Technical Leadership" (Blessing/White) and "Strategic
Relationship Management" (Harvard Business/Vantage). As a coach, Philip
uses his organizational experience and artistic background to combine theoretical
and systemic knowledge with a creative emphasis. He continues to write and
lecture on the topic of Leadership and Coaching. He currently resides in
Paris.
