
Kerry Jarred Kerry is a talent solutions consultant with 10 years experience
in the market place. Her experience spans professional services, financial services
and the legal industry. Recent clients also include those from the FMCG and education
sectors.
She has a depth and breadth of experience across the talent spectrum, however her
specialism and real passion is in the entry level talent arena.
Kerry's particular expertise lies in the alignment of graduate recruitment and development
strategies to business strategies and the design and implementation of campus recruitment
programmes. She also has vast experience of activity and team re-structuring; tailoring
targeting strategies and tactics (including diversity); measurement, metrics and
evaluation.
She has robust experience in the development and assessment arena, including competency
identification and framework design (at both graduate and school level), selection
tool identification and process design, delivery of training for best practice interview
and assessor skills, diversity in selection, and soft skills, and facilitating assessment
and development centres.
Kerry sat on the board of the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) between 2004
and 2007. She was also Chair of the AGR's Research and Information task group where
she was responsible for research, surveys and best practice, market led briefing
papers. A prime example being the management of the AGR's 2006 major research project
'Reaching the Hidden Pool'. She has a vast network and knowledge of the graduate
recruitment and development market place.
Her most recent in-house role was Global Head of Graduate Recruitment and Development
at HSBC. This involved defining the graduate recruitment and development strategy,
ensuring alignment with group strategy and determining the sourcing strategy for
each business area.
Kerry headed up the graduate function at Herbert Smith for 3.5 years. This included
re-structuring the team, determining and delivering attraction, recruitment and
selection strategy in line with the business strategy and launch and roll out of
a campus manager and a graduate diversity programme.
Prior to this, Kerry managed the graduate recruitment effort at Deloitte. This included
the design and project management of a major profile raising campaign in the UK
graduate market place. She started her graduate recruitment career at PricewaterhouseCoopers
(PwC) in 1999.
Kerry has a 2:1 literature and philosophy degree from Warwick. She is part ACA qualified
having trained at PwC. She is currently completing the final stage of the CIPD.
